The annual Chili Cook-off brings SVC members to BikeWorks every February to battle for the most coveted podium of the year! 2025 marks the 8th year of this favorite club tradition. Bring an empty stomach and your best recipe...the competition for the top step is fierce! Friends and family welcome.

TDF Ride
At BikeWorks annual Tour de France Ride, everyone gets a chance to channel their inner pro-cyclist and ride as one united peloton. So shine up your bike, dust off your yellow jersey, and meet us at the start line in July.

Ciril's rides
SVC member Ciril Hitz hosts club members each year at his outdoor teaching kitchen in Rehoboth MA. Head out for a 2-hour group ride in the morning and refuel with wood-fired pizza (or sausage and pretzels, depending on the season!) when you return. Family and friends are welcome to join after the ride.

SPOOKY RIDE
Every Halloween, we pedal from Long Live Beerworks for a 25-mile group ride through Providence and back again to Long Live for food and drinks. Costumes are optional but bragging rights are forever. Start planning yours now!

Holiday party
Each December, Long Live Beerworks plays host to a private party for Swansea Velo Club. Sponsors bring the food, members bring their friends and family for one final hurrah before winter sets in.
